Letter From Our Headteacher

13th October 2021

Dear Parents/Carers,

Keeping our Community Safe

There has been a small increase in current positive covid cases across school. Although this increase is currently small, we are not prepared to take any risks in keeping our school as safe as possible, and so we are following Public Health advice with immediate effect.

All children must wear masks in school, both in classrooms and in all indoor communal areas from tomorrow (unless your parents have notified school that you are exempt). This is something that we have to do to try to keep everyone safe and I know you will respond positively.

You should come to school with your mask on tomorrow, Thursday 14th October.

These measures will be in place for the next 6 school days, starting Thursday 14th October – Thursday 21st October, when the school closes for the half term break. This will give us a natural circuit break and we will review this extra safety measure after half term.

We must of course continue with all our other safety measures: enhanced cleaning, increased ventilation and cleansing your hands going in & out of classrooms and the dining room.

We must continue to work together, in a responsible manner, as we care for everyone in our school.

Thank you

Ms Knight
